  • Where did it all start?

I come from a family with a rich history in academia, politics, medicine, philosophy, theology, publishing and business.

It was largely due to the larger-than-life exploits of my grandfather (Senator Bruckner de Villiers), uncle (Professor Raoul de Villiers) and father (Dr. Bruckner de Villiers) that my quest to become a ‘man of knowledge’ was piqued.

My search for knowledge and meaning has taken me on an awesome journey of discovery into the world of meaning, purpose, philosophy, psychology, spiritualism, quantum mechanics and neuroscience, amongst others.

Today, I share this knowledge through my writing, training, speaking and consulting with my clients and friends.

  • Quick facts about me
    • Matriculated from King Edward VII in 1981
    • He completed his military service in 1984.
    • He obtained his National Diploma in Public Relations from the Technikon Witwatersrand (now known as the University of Johannesburg) in 1987.
    • His first job was as a copywriter for a large mining house in 1988. He then took up a position with a crisis management communications consultancy and later secured a position as an account manager at a mid-sized advertising and public relations agency.
    • In this time he became a Dale Carnegie instructor and that’s when the human development bug bit him.
    • In 1998, he started his own human development and training consultancy which initially specialised in uplifting the skills of sales professionals. It eventually morphed into an outfit that aimed to  empower human beings in any endeavour, no matter how big or small.
    • 700+ speaking and training interventions since 1998
    • Published 300+ articles on behalf of clients and 200+ on his own behalf
